Job Summary

This role involves supporting the digital transformation of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum's campus management system by focusing on the implementation and long-term operation of the new HISinOne system. The Application Administrator acts as the critical link between specialized departments and the IT team, translating functional requirements into technical solutions and overseeing their execution. Day-to-day tasks include configuring and customizing the web-based campus management system, conducting quality assurance tests, managing data migration processes, and providing technical support and training to end-users. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, possesses a strong understanding of complex technical processes, and is proficient in web and database technologies like XML, SQL, HTML, and CSS.
