Job Summary

This position offers an exceptional opportunity for ten doctoral researchers to join the Research Training Group 'Monoaminergic Neuronal Networks & Disease' (MoNN&Di). Successful candidates will engage in high-level interdisciplinary research investigating how monoaminergic networks function in healthy brains and their role in neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric diseases. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and conducting experimental studies using neurobiological, molecular, or electrophysiological methods, alongside analyzing complex datasets and presenting findings at international conferences. The role is uniquely positioned at the intersection of biology, biotechnology, medicine, and computer science, providing a comprehensive training environment to bridge the gap between basic research and clinical application. Required Skills

Education

Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Biology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, Psychology, or a related discipline

Experience

  • Advanced laboratory experience in a biological or medical research setting

  • Solid background in neurobiological research, specifically regarding monoaminergic systems
  • Experience in presenting research findings within academic seminars or conferences
