Job Summary

The Autobahn GmbH, one of Germany's largest infrastructure operators, is seeking an Internal Auditor to join its Internal Audit Staff Unit. This crucial role involves conducting comprehensive audits across all central and branch business units, including Finance, HR, Compliance, and occupational safety. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting audit plans, examining and ensuring the regularity, security, and economic efficiency of internal processes and systems, and identifying deviations. The auditor will be responsible for developing and initiating corrective measures, tracking their implementation, and producing detailed audit reports for management. Candidates must possess a scientific university degree in Law or Economics and bring a minimum of three years of professional experience in internal auditing or a comparable role at an accounting firm. Strong knowledge of SAP ERP modules and MS Office is essential, along with a high degree of reliability, strategic thinking, and willingness to travel to various locations within the company's network.
