Job Summary

This challenging role involves the autonomous monitoring and control of the E.DIS distribution network using one of Europe's most modern control systems. The System Operator is responsible for identifying and evaluating critical network and system situations and initiating necessary measures. Key day-to-day tasks include coordinating and executing switching operations for planned work and network faults, either remotely or via telephone instruction. Operating within a three-shift system, the operator ensures the safe operation of assigned network areas and acts as the primary point of contact for field colleagues during crises. The ideal candidate holds a degree as an Electrical Engineering Technician/Master or an equivalent electrical engineering degree, preferably with experience in operating networks or energy supply systems. Fluency in written and spoken German is required, along with a Class B driving license.
