Job Summary

This leadership role involves the strategic management, organization, and operational control of a decentralized IT Field Service team supporting both educational and business clients in the Bonn and Cologne regions. The Head of IT Field Service is responsible for maximizing on-site service quality, significantly enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring the efficient and economical deployment of the team. Key daily activities include the technical and disciplinary leadership of IT technicians and administrators, defining and monitoring SLAs and KPIs, and acting as the central point of contact for critical service escalations. The ideal candidate possesses proven professional experience in IT system environments, strong technical knowledge across Windows and Apple client systems, server, and network infrastructures, and excellent analytical skills for complex problem-solving and process optimization. This position requires a proactive, customer-focused approach and the ability to coach and mentor team members, driving the strategic evolution of field service technologies and processes.
