Job Summary

This role is central to driving the data-supported future of an energy scale-up focused on optimizing power flexibilities to integrate renewable energy. As a (Senior) Data Engineer, you will design, implement, and operate robust data pipelines, managing the entire data flow from extraction out of source systems to transformation and deployment into scalable data models. A key focus is on developing and optimizing Data Warehouse models, ensuring high data quality, and enabling self-service analytics across departments by providing well-documented data standards. You will also actively contribute to evolving the existing data architecture and act as a technical consultant to business units, translating functional requirements into technical solutions. The ideal candidate brings several years of practical experience in Data Engineering, deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data Services (including Fabric and Dynamics), proficiency in Python and T-SQL, and strong analytical and communication skills to convey complex technical matters to non-technical audiences.
