Job Summary

This role is central to driving the data-supported future of an innovative European energy scale-up focused on optimizing power flexibilities to integrate renewable energies. The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating robust data pipelines, managing the entire data flow from source extraction and transformation to deployment in scalable data models within a central data platform. Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing data models in the Data Warehouse, ensuring data quality, and enabling self-service analytics across business units. Candidates must possess several years of professional experience in Data Engineering, deep expertise in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (including Microsoft Fabric and Dynamics), proficiency in Python for pipeline development, and strong T-SQL skills. This position requires a highly analytical individual capable of translating complex technical issues for non-technical audiences, actively contributing to data architecture optimization, and consulting with specialized departments.
