Job Summary

The Avacon Netz GmbH, a key player in Germany's energy transition, is seeking a dedicated Project Manager for Protection and Control Technology to join their team in Salzgitter. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliable operation of high and medium-voltage grids. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the planning and implementation of protection and control systems within new construction and modification projects for substations. The manager will develop technical solutions for internal investments and actively participate in customer projects, contributing to engineering studies and working groups. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, or equivalent professional training, and possesses knowledge of secondary, control, and telecontrol technology. Strong project management skills, IT proficiency (MS Office, SAP), and a high degree of self-reliance and motivation are essential, along with excellent German language skills (C1 minimum) and willingness to travel within the network area.
