Job Summary
Join MANN & SCHRÖDER COSMETICS GROUP, a leading family-owned company in hair and body care, as a Laboratory Technician specializing in Microbiology. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting crucial microbiological tests on raw materials, cosmetic products, and water samples. Your day-to-day tasks will involve performing preservation efficacy tests according to DIN EN ISO 11930, including inoculum preparation and germ count determination, as well as microbial differentiation using MALDI-TOF-MS and various microscopic procedures. You will interpret and evaluate test results, maintain analytical equipment, and contribute to a motivated team. This position is ideal for someone with a background in microbiology, strong practical lab skills, and a precise, analytical approach, offering a long-term perspective within a stable, family-oriented company.
Required Skills
Education
Completed training as a BTA (Biological Technical Assistant), MTA (Medical Technical Assistant), or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience, or a natural science degree (preferably in Microbiology)
Experience
- Extensive practical skills in various microbiological laboratory activities
- Experience with S2 level work is desirable
- Experience in handling analytical devices
