Job Summary
The Energy Data Manager will play a central role in energy management at Roche's Penzberg site, ensuring that all energy and media data (electricity, heat, cold, water, compressed air) are complete, accurate, and usable. This data will form the basis for strategic decisions aimed at actively driving sustainability and decarbonization goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating and continuously developing the plant-wide energy monitoring system, coordinating site-wide meter management, and ensuring regulatory compliant data collection. The role involves creating meaningful analyses, key performance indicators, and energy reports for management, authorities, and certifications (e.g., ISO 50001, EMAS). The ideal candidate should have a degree in Energy, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Supply Engineering, coupled with professional experience in energy data analysis or technical facility management. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the energy and environmental strategy of one of Europe's largest biotech sites.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Supply Engineering, or comparable technical qualification.
