Job Summary

This role requires a Chemical-Technical Assistant to support the specialized PETRA III and PETRA IV chemistry and cleanroom laboratories. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of sophisticated chemical laboratory equipment and systems. Key duties include utilizing automated and computer-based systems, managing procurement processes, and ensuring safe handling of various chemicals, biological agents, and hazardous materials. The position requires a structured, independent, and results-oriented work ethic, capable of performing effectively even under high workload. Prior experience in cleanroom and glovebox operations is highly desirable. Candidates must possess completed CTA training or equivalent qualifications, combined with strong teamwork skills and proficiency in English for effective collaboration within the research environment.
