Job Summary

As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and prototyping of complex FPGA and SoC-based systems. Your day-to-day activities will involve HDL programming, specifically utilizing VHDL, and working extensively with AMD/Xilinx FPGA families such as Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC and Kintex-7. You will bridge the gap between hardware and software by developing firmware in C/C++ and Python within embedded Linux environments using the Yocto project. This role is particularly attractive for specialists interested in high-speed interface implementation (PCIe, Ethernet, DDR) and mechatronics. You will play a critical role in motion control applications and EtherCAT communication, requiring you to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to work at the cutting edge of hardware-software integration in a highly technical, scientific environment.
