Job Summary

This Senior IT Technician role focuses on the daily operation, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous development of the datacenter infrastructure in Augsburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on tasks including racking, patching, power management, and climate control, ensuring high availability and adherence to SLAs. Key responsibilities involve managing server and network systems, performing hardware installations (servers, switches, storage, UPS), and maintaining detailed IT documentation. A strong background in server hardware (HPE, Dell, Lenovo), network technology (Cisco, HP Aruba), and Linux systems (Debian, SUSE, RHEL) is essential. The position requires proficiency in automation tools like Terraform and Ansible, along with scripting in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
