Job Summary

This role is ideal for a skilled Technician or Engineer ready to drive innovation in railway control and safety systems. The core focus involves the testing and commissioning of railway control and safety technology, specifically electronic and digital interlocking systems, ensuring compliance with strict requirements. Day-to-day tasks include detailed fault analysis, developing and implementing corrective measures, and managing technical clarifications with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will also be responsible for documenting all activities, supporting customer training, and occasionally participating in on-call duty, as well as performing maintenance and repair work on railway signaling systems. Key qualifications include a background as a Railway Signal Mechanic, Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or an equivalent technical degree, coupled with strong problem-solving skills, excellent teamwork, and fluency in German and proficiency in English.
