Job Summary
This role involves the timely and compliant manufacturing of diagnostic reagents, strictly adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. The technician will be responsible for the GMP-compliant documentation of all process steps, as well as creating and maintaining work instructions. A key aspect of the job is leveraging experience and flexibility within an agile environment to contribute to manufacturing processes across various production facilities within the department. Furthermore, the role includes planning, executing, and documenting qualifications and validations, alongside creating necessary specification documents. This position requires a background as a chemical or biotech technician, or equivalent laboratory training with significant professional experience in a GMP production setting, ensuring reliability and quality in delivering precise diagnostic results for patients.
Required Skills
Education
Advanced training as a Chemical Technician or Biotechnician, or equivalent vocational training (e.g., Chemical Laboratory Technician, Biologial Laboratory Technician, Chemical Worker, or Pharmaceutical Worker)
Experience
- Successful completion of advanced training as a Chemical or Biotech Technician
- Alternatively, successful training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Biological Laboratory Technician, Chemical Worker, or Pharmaceutical Worker with additional relevant professional experience
- Professional experience in a similar position within a production operation in the chemical industry, specifically in a GMP environment
- Over 5 years of relevant professional experience (if substituting for advanced training)
