This full-time, permanent position involves supporting and ensuring the continuous operational safety of the Ruhr-University Bochum's technical infrastructure, crucial for teaching and research. The successful candidate will join the Technical Building Management department, focusing on the maintenance of all building technical systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing maintenance, inspection, and repair work on safety-critical systems, energy distribution units, battery systems, and HVAC installations across laboratories, workshops, and lecture halls. Key requirements include a completed vocational training as an Electrician specializing in Energy and Building Technology or an Electronics Technician specializing in Operational Technology, coupled with professional experience. The role requires strong technical expertise in Technical Building Equipment (TGA), including building automation and contactor circuits, along with proficiency in relevant software and standard office applications.
