Job Summary

The Equipment Engineer will be responsible for managing the approval processes and technical assessment of new operating equipment within the low and medium voltage grids, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Key daily tasks include developing testing procedures for equipment approval, maintaining the equipment database, conducting acceptance tests, and performing trials. The ideal candidate will also create defect and fault reports, develop remediation concepts, and represent the company's technical interests with customers and suppliers. This position requires a background in Electrical or Automation Engineering and extensive practical experience with low and medium voltage electrical equipment, coupled with expertise in equipment testing and documentation.
