Job Summary

This role focuses on advanced development within Sonar Signal Processing for a leading marine electronics system house specializing in maritime security. The core responsibilities involve independently designing, prototyping, testing, and evaluating signal processing algorithms and analytical tools, with a strong emphasis on AI-based Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques specifically applied to mine hunting. You will be responsible for identifying and introducing innovative processing and modeling techniques, participating in studies, and preparing results from sea trials. Additionally, you will support the implementation of product software. The ideal candidate holds a technical university degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering or Physics) with foundational knowledge in Signal Processing, Data Analysis, and practical experience using MATLAB, Python, and ML frameworks. Good communication skills in both German and English, and a willingness to travel occasionally, are essential for success in this pioneering field.
