Job Summary

This role involves analyzing, developing, and integrating network components within complex system architectures for a leading marine technology company. The Electrical Engineer will focus on product and component requirements in network technology, including IT security, interface compatibility, and integration capabilities. Day-to-day tasks include designing, building, and implementing physical and virtual networks, conducting detailed design analyses focusing on network architecture, latency, redundancy, and security mechanisms (IDS/IPS, Firewalls). The successful candidate will coordinate component development, ensure functional integration, and meticulously document results using network diagrams and configuration protocols. This position requires a background in Electrical Engineering or IT, strong knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs), and offers future-proof development opportunities within an international, high-tech environment.
