Job Summary
Join the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) as an Access and SQL Developer, contributing to public health initiatives in Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for the system management, implementation, and ongoing development of database and analysis applications, primarily focusing on existing Microsoft Access applications. A key part of your work will involve maintaining and enhancing these systems, as well as assisting with their migration to a new Laboratory Information and Management System (LIMS). You'll engage in requirements analysis, communicate with internal partners, and contribute to system architecture and data reuse concepts. This position requires strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, relational database design, and complex data models, along with significant experience in Microsoft Access/VBA. The ideal candidate will possess a MINT degree, demonstrate strong conceptual thinking, independence, and excellent communication skills, working within a 75% part-time capacity.
