Job Summary
The Hochschule Anhalt is seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join the Department of Agriculture, Home Economics, and Landscape Development. This 65% part-time position, limited to 36 months starting April 1, 2026, is integrated into the DFG-funded 'AgriRestore' research project. The core focus is the economic valuation (monetary and non-monetary) of restoration measures in agricultural landscapes, specifically in Saxony-Anhalt. Day-to-day tasks involve designing survey instruments, developing and evaluating implementation scenarios through participatory methods, conducting statewide surveys, and performing advanced statistical analyses (preferably using R). The role offers excellent opportunities for scientific qualification, including pursuing a PhD, and requires strong analytical skills, expertise in environmental economics, and fluency in both German and English.

Completed scientific university degree (Diplom (Uni), Master) in Economics, Environmental Economics, Environmental Sciences, Geography, Nature Conservation, or comparable fields
Experience
- Experience in conducting survey-based experiments (desirable)
- Initial experience with third-party funded projects or collaboration with practical partners (administration, agriculture, nature conservation) (ideal)
