Job Summary

This role involves supporting the INNOVATION HUB 110 of the Hessian Police Headquarters for Technology by focusing on the operation, support, and continuous development of the Geographic Data Infrastructure (GDI). The specialist will ensure the GDI is secure, stable, scalable, and flexible, providing essential support for command and control systems, operations centers, and dispatch centers. Day-to-day tasks include technical planning and coordination with project stakeholders, leading technically oriented project teams (internal and external), providing Second Level Support for the GDI, and advising technical requirement owners. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in Geoinformatics or a related field, strong practical knowledge of GDI-specific programs, and experience applying ITIL, testing, and project management processes within an IT environment. This position offers the opportunity to develop sustainable, future-proof solutions within a cross-functional team environment, contributing directly to the digitalization and security efforts of the Hessian Police.
