Job Summary

This critical role involves supporting the System Engineering Manager in defining and managing the architecture of telecommunication satellites across various project phases, from initial studies (Phase A/B) through implementation (Phase B2/C/D). Key responsibilities include managing internal and external satellite interfaces, coordinating technical system budgets (such as electrical power, mass properties, and propellant), and ensuring compliance with stringent technical requirements. The engineer will also be vital in developing AIT (Assembly, Integration, and Test) plans, defining system-level test specifications, and preparing the spacecraft for launch and flight operations. The ideal candidate possesses a Master's degree in a relevant field, professional experience in satellite projects, and excellent communication skills in both English and German to facilitate technical negotiations with customers and collaborative work within the engineering team.
