Job Summary

This role seeks a (Senior) System Engineer to drive the technical conceptualization and coordination of complex network management systems (NMS) tailored for IP and transmission networks. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients, developing and presenting technical concepts, and providing expert technical support to the sales team during the creation of proposals. A core function involves generating detailed specifications for software development and assisting with the critical integration of sub-systems into the overall NMS architecture. Furthermore, the engineer will define test specifications for Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and validate the functionality of deployed network management systems. Key qualifications include a relevant university degree, at least two years of professional experience in software solutions or NMS/OSS, and deep expertise across IP, transmission, and access network technologies. This position requires a structured, innovative approach and strong communication skills, supported by fluency in both German and English.
