Job Summary
The Environmental Engineer will take responsibility for all processes related to the German Fuel Emission Trading Act (BEHG) within a municipal waste incineration plant that generates electricity and district heating. Key daily tasks involve managing and participating in relevant certifications, such as ISO 14001 and ISO 27001, and supporting overall material flow management. The role also requires assisting with environmental analyses, conducting emissions measurements, contributing to various projects, and creating technical documentation, evaluations, and reports. This position is suitable for recent graduates holding a degree in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. It offers a responsible, long-term career opportunity in a sustainable and crisis-proof public utility company, requiring a structured working approach and proficiency in handling technical data and MS Office applications.
