Job Summary

This role involves leading, overseeing, and continuously optimizing the operation of the association's landfill facilities, which include a Class II landfill and three post-care sites, one of which hosts a photovoltaic system. The Head of Landfill Operations will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary leadership of the landfill personnel, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements, and collaborating closely with regulatory and supervisory authorities. Key responsibilities also include planning and supervising construction and remediation measures, contributing to the strategic development of landfill operations, and managing budget planning. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Environmental Technology or a related technical qualification, demonstrates strong leadership qualities, and possesses professional experience in waste management or municipal administration.
