Job Summary

This role is critical in shaping the communication infrastructure for a major energy provider, focusing on the architecture and continuous development of Datacenter networks, including LAN, WLAN, WAN, Internet, and VPN systems. The IT Systems Engineer will be responsible for the conception, setup, and operation of communication infrastructures for both data centers and clients. A key part of the job involves advising on IT and telecommunication paths and their integration into existing security concepts when designing new applications and services. The position also includes providing technical 2nd and 3rd-level support, creating system and architecture documentation, and training IT colleagues. Candidates should possess a MINT degree or equivalent qualification, extensive experience in network and telecommunications infrastructure, and expertise in Software Defined Network (SDN) environments, bringing strategic vision and excellent communication skills to lead infrastructure projects.
