Job Summary

This role is the technical core of projects focused on optimizing and developing intelligent control and regulation systems for modern technical building equipment, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and specialized systems. The successful candidate will primarily focus on commissioning Measurement, Control, and Regulation (MCR) systems, performing functional checks on construction sites, and ensuring smooth initial operation. Key responsibilities include expanding and creating programs for DDC (PLC) controllers and Building Management Systems (BMS/GLT), optimizing system processes for maximum efficiency, and setting up building bus systems like BACnet, Modbus, and KNX. Additionally, the technician will perform independent maintenance, servicing, and repairs on building automation systems to ensure long-term operational safety. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant technical qualification in electrical or automation technology and ideally have professional experience in the sector, contributing actively to the energy transition and climate protection goals of the company.

Required Skills

Education

Completed training as an Electrical Installer, Energy Systems Electrician, Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology, or Automation Technology, or a comparable electronic profession. Technician or Master certification is desirable.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the building automation sector (ideally)
  • Experience in commissioning MCR systems for technical building equipment
  • Experience with functional testing and initial commissioning on construction sites
  • Experience in programming DDC (PLC) controllers and GLT systems
