Job Summary

This role is the technical core of projects focused on energy transition and climate neutrality, specifically within the Metropolitan Region of Hamburg, Lower Saxony, and Schleswig-Holstein. The Programmer/Systems Technician will be responsible for optimizing, expanding, and developing intelligent control and regulation systems for modern technical building equipment (TBE), including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and specialized systems. Day-to-day tasks involve commissioning measurement, control, and regulation (MCR) systems, performing functional tests on construction sites, and programming DDC (PLC) controllers and central building management systems (CBMS). A successful candidate should have a background in electrical or automation technology, ideally with industry experience, and possess strong skills in programming, system optimization, and commissioning building bus systems like BACnet, Modbus, and KNX. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electrical Installer, Power Electronics Technician, Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology, or Automation Technology. Technician or Master qualification is desirable.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the building automation industry (ideally)
  • Experience with commissioning MCR systems for technical building equipment
  • Experience in programming DDC/PLC controllers and GLT systems
  • Experience with setting up and maintaining building bus systems (e.g., BACnet, Modbus, KNX)
