This role involves leading and coordinating the Schmücke Air Measurement Station, focusing on the conceptual and organizational optimization of the unit. The specialist will be responsible for designing, supervising, developing, and ensuring the quality of advanced measurement procedures for reactive trace substances, climate-relevant gases, aerosols, and radiation parameters, with a particular emphasis on VOC analysis using GC-MS. Key responsibilities include implementing scientific tasks, conducting scientific communication, and guiding staff on sampling, analysis, data management, and maintenance protocols.
