Job Summary

This role involves designing, defining, and documenting the complete system architecture for new System-on-Chip (SoC) Embedded platforms, focusing on real-time requirements, performance, and scalability. The Architect will be responsible for low-level software design, including drivers, middleware, and RTOS integration on microcontrollers using modern C++ standards (C++17/20). A core component of the mission is defining the hardware architecture within the FPGA, including interfaces and data paths, and establishing APIs and communication protocols between C++ software and VHDL hardware for seamless integration. This position requires expertise in microcontroller programming, complex logic implementation using VHDL for FPGAs, and experience in embedded software development within a Linux environment. The successful candidate will actively contribute to requirement analysis and specification, ensuring adherence to architectural guidelines and verification strategies, and must possess excellent German communication skills to interact effectively with clients.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field of study

Experience

  • Professional experience in the architecture and implementation of complex logic for current FPGA families
  • Professional experience in embedded software development using modern, object-oriented C++ in a Linux environment
  • Secure application of communication protocols and experience with bus systems and RTOS
