Job Summary

This role supports the management team of a 50-person Pharma-GMP and accredited physical-chemical/microbiological testing laboratory in Lörrach, Germany. The Laboratory Manager is responsible for the professional release of analytical work across various departments, including HPLC, GC, Inorganic Chemistry, and Microbiology. A core function involves leading and supporting the team in resolving analytical challenges related to the development, optimization, validation, and execution of analysis methods. Additionally, the manager will consult with and advise clients regarding the laboratory's service offerings. Candidates must possess a completed natural science degree and practical experience in the specified analytical techniques, coupled with mandatory experience working under stringent GMP conditions. The position offers flexible, family-friendly working hours (minimum 60% part-time or full-time), one day of potential home office, and a secure, permanent contract within a modern laboratory environment.
