Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join a pharmaceutical GMP-certified and accredited physical-chemical and microbiological testing lab in Lörrach, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing crucial microbiological analyses, including germ count determination and differentiation in water samples, conducting conservation adequacy tests, and determining the microbiological purity of non-sterile products according to pharmacopoeia methods. Daily tasks involve handling pathogenic germs up to Risk Class 2, biochemical germ identification (manual and automated), and preparing and testing culture media. A background as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, BTA, PTA, MTA, VMTA, or CTA, coupled with experience in sterile working techniques and GMP conditions, is essential.
