Job Summary

This role involves supporting cutting-edge Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects within the Institute for Occupational, Social, and Preventive Medicine at the University Medical Center Göttingen, focusing on digitalized work environments and corporate transformation. The technician will be crucial in developing, optimizing, and maintaining workflows, handling the processing and organization of structured and unstructured data, and setting up and maintaining AI development environments and workstations. Key qualifications include a completed vocational IT training (e.g., System Integration or Application Development) or a relevant Bachelor's degree (e.g., Computer Science or Data Science), coupled with practical knowledge in Python and/or R. The position also requires familiarity with data management principles, basic knowledge of tools like Bash, Docker, and Git, and excellent English skills.
