Job Summary

This role seeks an engaged PLC Programmer to be responsible for the full lifecycle of control software for production facilities in Appenweier. Day-to-day activities involve the creation, development, and programming of new PLC controls, alongside the optimization of existing programs to enhance efficiency. A core component of the job includes conducting thorough system tests, commissioning new installations (often at customer sites), and performing fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on automation systems. The successful candidate will also support various projects within the special machine construction sector and ensure meticulous documentation of all software solutions and technical records. Key qualifications include a background in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, advanced training as a Certified Technician in Automation Technology, and practical experience with PLC programming platforms like Siemens S7 STEP7, WinCC, and TIA Portal. Knowledge of KUKA or Fanuc robotics is considered advantageous for this dynamic and innovative environment.
