Job Summary
This role involves defining and maintaining the software architecture for state-of-the-art embedded Linux platforms used in fire detection systems. Working within an agile release train at a global technology leader, you will collaborate closely with development teams in Switzerland and abroad, spanning the entire development lifecycle from requirements engineering and design to implementation, verification, and transfer to manufacturing. A crucial aspect of the job is maintaining and extending the DevSecOps pipeline (using tools like GitLab, Artifactory, and Yocto) and supporting release building and vulnerability management. You will conduct design and code reviews and drive test automation efforts. Required Skills
Education
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
Experience
- Several years of experience in relevant technical disciplines with a strong focus on software development and (embedded) Linux
- Professional experience with DevSecOps implementation and maintenance
- Experience in system architecture, requirements engineering, and product life cycle management
- Experience working in a strongly regulated environment with long product life cycles
