This role involves shaping the future of railway mobility within Siemens Mobility, focusing on the conception and definition of robust system architectures and security blueprints for critical infrastructure environments, primarily utilizing Microsoft Windows systems. The specialist will design complex Microsoft, Linux, and network environments, ensuring they are performant, reliable, and optimally protected against cyber threats. Key responsibilities include implementing and continuously adapting security policies (GPOs, Endpoint Protection, Patch Management), managing IT infrastructure and security development projects from concept to blueprint handover, and automating security processes using scripting tools like PowerShell and Ansible. This position requires deep technical expertise in System Engineering and security administration, coupled with strong project management skills, offering the opportunity to drive innovative solutions in a dynamic, global technology leader.
Required Skills
Education
Sound technical education (Technical College/University of Applied Sciences/University/ETH) or comparable professional experience in IT. Further training in System Engineering or Information Security is advantageous.
Experience
- Several years of profound experience in System Engineering
- Very good knowledge in the administration and security of Microsoft Windows Server systems
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible)
- Professional experience in IT infrastructure and security development project management
