Job Summary

This doctoral position in Astrophysics focuses on investigating the complex chemical processes within protostars, specifically the interplay between warm carbon chain chemistry (WCCC) and hot corino chemistry. The role involves analyzing high-resolution observational data from submillimeter telescopes and integrating it with state-of-the-art chemical models to understand the temperature structures and evolutionary stages of protostellar sources. The successful candidate will determine the degree of deuteration in various molecular species, assess the spatial coincidence of different chemical pathways, and reconstruct the temporal evolution and chemical history of protostellar systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to cutting-edge research within an international collaboration at a leading European university.
