Job Summary

This full-time role as a Materials Tester in Warstein focuses on ensuring the quality and integrity of forged components through rigorous testing procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities involve preparing the testing process, including setting required parameters and ensuring the availability of testing equipment, such as checking UV lighting and testing fluids. A core duty is performing magnetic particle inspection (crack testing) on parts, followed by careful visual inspection under UV light. You will be responsible for documenting all test results, accurately marking defects, and clearing flawless components for release, as well as reworking detected defects according to quality standards. Candidates should possess strong manual dexterity, technical understanding, and ideally, professional experience in a metalworking environment. Readiness for shift work is required. This position is offered as temporary employment with an unlimited contract, aiming for permanent placement by the client.
