Job Summary

This opportunity is for a proactive Technical Buyer to join an established, innovative Swiss tech company specializing in electronic technologies near Zurich. The successful candidate will assume comprehensive operational and strategic responsibility for specific product groups, notably chemicals and laboratory supplies. Day-to-day tasks include implementing supplier strategies, ensuring adherence to procurement guidelines, managing the full order lifecycle from request verification to timely execution, and leading price and contract negotiations. A key aspect of the role involves contributing to the continuous improvement and development of the SAP procurement system. To succeed, you must bring 2-5 years of relevant procurement experience, ideally within the chemicals sector, coupled with a commercial or technical vocational background. Strong hands-on mentality and excellent communication skills in both German and English are essential. This interim 'Try & Hire' position offers a hybrid work model, high responsibility, and the potential for a permanent role.
