Job Summary

This crucial leadership role at Roche in Penzberg focuses on guiding and mentoring a team of 5-10 employees within the Assay Development New Products Chapter, fostering their professional growth and managing performance. The Team Lead is responsible for effective resource planning, ensuring a collaborative environment, and driving efficiency improvements. Key organizational duties include managing facility and infrastructure strategy (laboratories, offices), overseeing biosafety protocols, and ensuring compliance with SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) requirements and labor laws. The successful candidate will actively drive organizational change, support the transition to agile methodologies, and represent the Core Lab Development (CLD) organization locally. Ideal candidates possess a Master's or PhD in Life Sciences or a related field, leadership experience in an industrial setting, and professional background in In-vitro Diagnostics or Assay Development, coupled with strong communication skills in both English and German.
