Job Summary

This role involves the crucial administration and development of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and overall IT support within the Building Department of Ebersberg district. Key responsibilities include managing and enhancing the RIWA-GIS application, handling user authorization, conducting training, and providing georeferenced data for internal and external requests, including supporting the valuation committee. Furthermore, the specialist will oversee the procedural and technical advancement of the digital building application process (Prosoz Bau), coordinate hardware planning, and provide essential IT support to colleagues, municipalities, and citizens regarding digital construction procedures. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT or Geoinformation, strong communication skills, and a foundational understanding of data protection and security, contributing to the digitalization of municipal building services.
