Job Summary
The Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel is seeking a Research Assistant for its Institute of Economics, specifically within the Macroeconomics department. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Economics or a methodologically relevant field for an economic doctorate (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics) with excellent results.
Experience
- Interest in research in monetary, fiscal, or climate policy, business cycles, structural change, or energy economics.
- Experience with econometric methods and macroeconomic theory.
- Initial programming or relevant software skills are desirable.
- Enthusiasm for research and teaching.

- Must be an employee of the state of Schleswig-Holstein (exceptions for severely disabled persons apply). Willingness to participate in the Quantitative Economics doctoral program. This is a fixed-term position for 3 years, starting September 1, 2025. Part-time employment (50% of full-time, currently 19.35 hours per week).
