Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Microtechnologist to join the team in Dortmund, focusing on the production of micro- and nanostructured molds and components. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating various electroplating, electrochemical, and wet-chemical systems, ranging from small to large formats. Key tasks involve executing galvanic processes using materials like Nickel, Hard Nickel, Black Nickel, and Copper, alongside managing wet-chemical and plasma-assisted pre-treatment and cleaning processes. The specialist will be responsible for monitoring system and process parameters, conducting visual and metrological quality control, and performing routine maintenance and repairs on electroplating and wastewater treatment systems. The ideal candidate must have completed vocational training as an Electroplater, Surface Coater, Microtechnologist, or related field, possess suitability for handling chemicals, and be prepared to work in a cleanroom environment and potentially participate in shift work.
