Job Summary

This role involves ensuring safe and healthy working conditions within the health and welfare sector, acting as a supervisory officer (Aufsichtsperson) for the statutory accident insurance provider (BGW). Day-to-day tasks include advising and supporting companies on occupational safety and health protection, investigating the causes of work accidents and occupational diseases, and conducting seminars to promote a safe work environment. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Natural Sciences, Medicine, or Health/Care Sciences) and possesses at least two years of relevant post-graduate professional experience. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or University Diploma in Engineering Sciences (Mechanical, Safety, Electrical), Natural Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), Medicine, Health/Care Sciences, Pedagogy, Psychology, Sociology, Gerontology, or Educational Sciences. Alternatively, comparable degree with a minimum 60% focus on one of the listed subjects, or existing qualification as a Supervisory Officer with a Master's degree/University Diploma.

Experience

  • Minimum two years of relevant professional experience post-university graduation
  • Ideally experience in quality and project management
  • Desirable: Several years of leadership experience
  • Desirable: Operational experience in occupational health and safety (preferably in BGW-insured sectors)
