Job Summary

This role offers an ambitious scientist the opportunity to join the Cluster of Excellence “Responsible Electronics in the Climate Change Era (REC²)” at TUD Dresden University of Technology as a Research Associate and PhD Student. The core focus involves developing magnetron sputter epitaxy (MSE) as a sustainable technology for producing group III-nitride semiconductors, specifically addressing strain management and AlGaN growth for advanced power electronics. Day-to-day responsibilities include specialized research, experimental development of buffer structures, and close collaboration with a diverse, interdisciplinary team spanning natural sciences, engineering, sustainability, and social sciences within the REC² Cluster.
