Job Summary

This critical Project Manager role involves independently leading complex, large-scale infrastructural construction projects within the energy sector, specifically focusing on medium- and high-voltage systems (10 kV to 110 kV), including new construction and modification of substations and high-voltage overhead lines. Day-to-day responsibilities include comprehensive project management, overseeing and coordinating planning and construction execution, managing budgets, timelines, and invoicing, and handling contract and change order management (Nachtragsmanagement). The ideal candidate must possess a Master's or Diploma degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, coupled with significant professional experience in construction, project, or site management, preferably within plant construction or power distribution systems. Expertise in energy supplier regulations, HOAI (Service Phases 1-9), and VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures) is essential, along with strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills to ensure the economic and timely completion of major energy infrastructure investments.

Required Skills

Education

Master's or Diploma degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable field of study

Experience

  • Professional experience in construction, project, or site management (Oberbauleitung)
  • Experience in plant construction or power distribution systems is preferred
  • Experience steering and successfully completing medium-volume large-scale or special construction projects
