Job Summary

The University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) is seeking a Junior IT Project Manager to join their Information Technology division, one of Europe's most modern clinical IT environments. This role is crucial for actively shaping the expansion and development of IT within the UKE, specifically supporting the DIEP project (Digital Innovation for Excellent Patient Care), which involves testing a technical solution for locating medical devices. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading smaller strategic projects, analyzing processes and requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders, coordinating internal and external service providers, and supporting senior IT Project Managers on larger initiatives. The ideal candidate holds a degree in a relevant IT field or equivalent experience, possesses strong organizational and analytical skills, and is proficient in German (C1 level). This is a part-time, two-year fixed-term contract offering a meaningful role in a challenging and supportive healthcare environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in a relevant IT discipline or equivalent skills and experience

Experience

  • Experience in an ITIL-oriented IT organization (desirable)
  • Knowledge and experience in the healthcare sector and inpatient/outpatient care structures (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of medical applications (advantageous)
