This specialized role involves the programming and commissioning of complex automation systems for various industrial sectors, including special purpose machinery (packaging, textile, logistics) and chemical plants. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing PLC controls and visualization systems for new installations, as well as executing modernization projects (Retrofit) for existing legacy systems. A critical component of the job is the hands-on commissioning of these plants, requiring extensive travel across Germany, Europe, and globally (minimum 30%). Candidates must bring several years of relevant professional experience, supported by a technical degree or advanced qualification (Technician/Master).
