Job Summary

As a PLC Programmer, you will play a central role in the design and implementation of automation solutions for special-purpose machinery and plant engineering. Your daily responsibilities include programming PLC systems for both new installations and the modernization of existing equipment (retrofit). You will be responsible for planning and executing visualizations, as well as performing worldwide commissioning of the systems. Beyond development, you will handle troubleshooting and fault rectification for existing plants. This role is highly dynamic, offering the chance to work across various locations in North Rhine-Westphalia and participate in international projects. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics; alternatively, a certified Technician qualification with a relevant focus.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in automation within the plant engineering sector
  • Professional experience in PLC project planning and programming
  • Experience in creating visualizations and system commissioning
  • Experience in troubleshooting and fault rectification in existing industrial plants
